French Montana at the National Orange Events Show

Rapper French Montana, of P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records fame, invited Woodall Films to film his concert at the National Orange Events Show for their annual Labor Day Jam. Famous for his album “Excuse my French” which landed No. 4 on the Billboard charts, Montana has consistently worked his way up to the top of the Hip Hop genre. His hit club song “Pop That” has reached over 40 million views on Youtube, and features the likes of super-stars Drake, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross.  His newly released “Freaks” featuring Nicki Minaj has already skyrocketed to over 20 million views, rapidly approaching the Billboards top charts.

Montana’s concert featured another quickly ascending group, Rej3ctz, famous for their single “Cat Daddy” featuring R & B star Chris Brown. With over 12 million views, their catchy song, and viral dance caught the eye of Kate Upton whose claim to fame was her sultry interpretation of the ‘Cat Daddy’ dance.

The event featured well known artists Joe Moses with Ty Dolla $ign playing their hit “Paranoid” from Waka Flocka Flame’s Bricksquad Monopoly, DJ Kid Fresh from 106 & Park, HP-Wez, Marshal Payne, and Ms. Toi.

Woodall Films spoke to Montana after the show about his success and he attributed his popularity to, “paying attention to what people say” and actively seeking out feedback from his fans.
