An infomercial-obsessed janitor gets an unusual opportunity to make money. He sells pieces of his body to a doctor in exchange for cash–and human connection. With enough income to feed his compulsions, he falls deeper into his consumerist addictions. He realizes that no matter how much he gains, “it’s never enough.” The janitor soon finds out that the person he’s been selling his body to is not a doctor – and the world he lives in is one he could never have imagined. The “doctor” takes him through a door–a rabbit hole–to a futuristic world where the wealthy don’t live by the same rules as the lower-class.
